Just how bad can it get in an hour or so?

Go away for a meeting and get back to 43-5. Oh dear.

The ability for England to collapse never ceases to amaze me! But it makes me feel better about the limitless club cricket collapses I've been a part of. Pity Bucknor marked one of the last, if not the last, appearance he'll make as an international umpire with another wrong decision (Collingwood).

Latest score 68-7, Prior has just gone. Oh dear, oh dear.

England batsmen appear to be brain-dead. Even Graham Thorpe on Sky said their batting appeared thoughtless. Do they not watch the game and learn from their colleagues' mistakes? The pull shot was the quick way to batting suicide but our players were too thick to realise it.
If Pietersen is so keen to come home, let him do so, his performances have been such that he won't be missed. But he should also be stopped from playing in the IPL if the little diddums needs more time at home. At the moment he's overpaid and performing badly: there's a public backlash against bankers to whom this applies, it's about time there's one against under-performing professional sportsmen too.
