The b***ers have done it again, or have they?
Remember the 'wrong' Thompson and the 'other' Taylor ? I've got a nasty feeling that the Aussies have found another star bowler from nowhere - Xavier Doherty looks worryingly good - hope they only see him as an ODI player.
Doherty has been playing for Tassie in domestic cricket for probably five or more years and had been one of the best spinners, in one day cricket for several seasons, i'm a little surprised its taken so long for him to break into the Australian team.
He actually is not an automatic selection for Tassie in 4 day cricket though. He competes with Jason Krejza, they rarely play two spinners, and until this season, Krejza was usually the preferred option. Doherty probably cemented his spot for the time being though with a five wicket haul recently. Lets see how he goes.
