(Reverse) swing the key

I've never worried about Brett Lee being in the Australian side as he has an average of over 40 against England and our batsmen seem to have no problem playing him. But having said that, he seems to have learnt how to reverse swing the ball now. I wonder if, from an England perspective, he may be the surprise Aussie package - normally we plunder him but I fear we won't this year.

Cricket Burble will come back to this once he's seen in action in Cardiff after his 5 for yesterday....

I think he'll be very dangerous - an opinion that was changed just on 10 minutes highlights last night. Lee looked very dangerous. He reversed it a lot and had control over it. Even more scary was his pace from what seemed like little effort. I thought to myself he was ambling in and well short of pace, then the speed gun clocked him at 93mph on a dead pitch.

I expect him to be a major threat, as his pace will go up beyond 95mph for sure. Reversing it accurately at that pace will very tough. I tip Lee to be top wicket-taker of the series.

A tenner says he isn't. OK?

I'm not taking that! He's 7-1 with Bet365, so if you offer me 3-1 I'll take it. Or, how about you select your choice; who is it?

OK....toss up between Mitchell Johnson and James Anderson.

So I'll go for James Anderson - if he takes most wickets, you owe me a tenner, vice versa for Lee - anyone else and all bets are off!

Done! And strictly for non-financial reasons, what is your prediction for top batsmen? I reckon Hussey for Australia and Bopara for England. Have got a feeling Pietersen will struggle.

It appears that Lee is a bad bet, as he is out for the first two tests.

Yes, I'm liking the fact that it's almost impossible for Lee to be top wicket taker now!

Top batsman - I'm going for Bopara too which is a risky bet. But I had to pick a "trump player" in my fantasy side and went for him so I might as well be consistent....

I think Hussey will do well but it will be interesting to see Swann bowling at him from round the wicket and turning the ball away....
