"burble" - verb. To talk at great length, with scant regard for logic or facts and with no attempt to reach a conclusion.
Being an Australian cricket fan is becoming more and more difficult. Regular batting collapses, losing unlosables matches, questionable team selections and captaincy decisions, not having the ashes. I'm beginning to understand how English fans have felt for most of the last thirty or so years.

He he. Your agony has many years to go yet....first the selectors have to use 25 players a series - as none are good enough they keep changing in desperation. Then your captain will change more than once a year. They'll be more changes to the selection panel (I know Merv has just been sacked but that's just the start). Then there will be great debate about the structure of domestic cricket and questioning of why more good cricketers aren't emerging.
Finally they'll be a general acceptance that an era to equal that of the Waughs, McGrath, Warne, Gilchrist, Hayden, Ponting etc won't happen again for another 50 years and settle for mediocrity like us Poms.
Learn to relish the ups and downs of continual hope followed by disappointment!!
