Collingwood done by Bowden again

Paul Collingwood must be starting to wonder what he's ever done to Billy Bowden! As if last summer's wrong decision at Lords (number 118 in the Cricket Burble list of wrong decisions) against South Africa wasn't enough (given that it helped cost him his place for one match), Bowden has come up with an identical one in the 1st Test in India. Slow bowler, padded to short-leg, crooked finger up!

I won't bore you with the argument for technology again...the point is made for me.

Today's bad decision must have been one of the very worst: Collingwood's bat was the full width of a pad from the ball, must have been 7 or 8 inches. Mind you Anderson should have lost his record of never having been out for nought: he very obviously pad/batted a straight one to short leg: he was out either lbw or caught but was given not out either way (not by Billy B this time though).

That's interesting - Anderson is getting a reputation for being a gutsy night watchman but that's the second time he should have been out for nought before battling to a decent knock for a tailender - the same happened last year against south africa when he should have been out the night before, and then batted for most of the morning session the next day....
