Bring back Test Matches

Thank God the IPL and T20 world cup are over. Can we please get on with some proper cricket now. It seems a life time ago since I've watched a test match.

Congratulations England, well played, best team in the tournament, unlike Australia they were never forced to come back from losing positions in games. With the exception of the first game when the rain hurt them they were pretty much in front in every other game they played from start to finish

I'm 100% with you on the need for some Tests. Guess what West Indies, South Africa, New Zealand and Sri Lanka are up to over the next week? Playing more Twenty20 matches!! Over here we have a Test to look forward to on 27th May....

To be more certain that the best team won you'd need to play more games as they do in baseball and basketball - I was surprised how easily England won but a couple of minor tweaks could make the Aussies a much better side I reckon.

1. I'm not sure why they didn't use a combination of Watson, David Hussey and Clarke to bowl the 5th allocation - on a flat wicket Watson would be my 3rd choice to bowl out of those 3.

2. Just bat in a different order - Watson, Warner, Hussey D, White, Hussey M, Haddin, Clarke, Smith, Johnson, Tait, Nannes.

Clarke looked uncomfortable batting at 3 and it's questionable whether the format suits him - White seems like the ideal man to step in (although I hear there are concerns about his sportsmanship in Australian domestic cricket) if there's an obvious man to come in. Anyone spring to mind? Shaun Marsh seems to be mentioned by some....
